The Camerata Vocale of Hanover Germany visit All Saints Carshalton – at 730pm on Tuesday 2nd September

This highly regarded and awarded choir will be making one of its rare appearances in the UK on Tuesday 2nd September at All Saints Carshalton at 7:30 pm.

Founded in 1982 by its director Hans–Dieter Reinecke and comprising over 35 talented singers, they have gained a reputation for excellence Europe wide. The choir’s repertoire includes sacred and secular choral music of all styles. The choral music of the 20th Century are given a particular weight. Several composers have written works exclusively for this highly talented choir from Hanover, Germany.

Having previously toured extensively in Russia, Hungary, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Italy, the USA and Turkey, they will come to Carshalton for one special night only.Together with the North German Radio Company, they have made several best selling CDs .

The programme will include works from Mendelssohn, Rachmaninov, James MacMillan, Buchenberg and Brahms.

This is a free event with a request for a donation to the church on departure.
