Dear Colleagues,
The Met Office has issued a Level 2 Heat Alert for the South-East of England and London, effective from 12noon Tuesday 23 August until 6pm Thursday 25 August 2016.
There is a 40 per cent chance that temperatures could reach above 30C during this period.
Public Health England have issued health advice on their website regarding the high temperatures and the potential impacts this can have on services and staff. Please take the time to study the LBS guidance for all staff and service managers – available here on how best to ensure the safety of yourself, your colleagues and service users during high temperatures.
