The following is information about the current Mayor of the London Borough of Sutton Councillor Gerry Jerome.
Hard-working Cllr. Gerry Jerome has served as the borough’s first citizen for 2011-12 with Cllr. Hamish Pollock supporting him as the Deputy Mayor. Shortly a new Mayor will be elected at the Annual Council Meeting to be held on Monday, 21st May 2012, who will choose a new Deputy Mayor.
Over the last 12 months, the Mayor has supported “Ways to Work” a charity he has set up to help young people into work.
Cllr. Gerry Jerome has lived in the borough for 25 years and has been a councillor for a total of 10 years.
