Jill, Alan and Hamish have recently raised concerns over the deteriorating road surface of Westmead Road between Kingsley Avenue/Ringstead Road crossroads (roughly at the middle) and Shorts Road (at the eastern end) by the railway bridge at Westmead Corner.  This is of course an important local road skirting the south side of the Poets’ Estate.

We’re pleased to report that we’ve received a notification that the resurfacing (and consequent white lining etc.) of this part of Westmead Road will take place in week commencing Monday, 20th August 2012 and will take about 3 days.
