Some progress photographs of the Carshalton War Memorial for the heroes of WW2 (1939-1945), as designed by one of the Carshalton Central councillors.

The construction works are being carried out in the Carshalton War Memorial Gardens off Honeywood Walk and are due to be completed fairly soon.  The works have been funded entirely by the council’s Carshalton and Clockhouse Committee out of its Public Realm budgets.

The gardens near Carshalton Ponds will be reopened towards the end of May.
